Hyundai IONIQ 6 N previewed, debuts at 2025 Goodwood Festival

Hyundai has sent out the first official teaser images of its next all-electric performance hero; the 2026 IONIQ 6 N. Designed to take the baton from the awesome IONIQ 5 N, the new model promises a fresh take on the brand’s high-performance EV ambitions, this time wrapped in a sleek, low-slung four-door coupe silhouette.

The teaser – showing the production version (a previous teaser showed only a glimpse) – reveals an aggressive, motorsport-inspired look, featuring a prominent rear wing, pumped-up wheel arches, and a wider stance, all as expected. Hyundai says the car has undergone intensive aerodynamic refinement to ensure high-speed stability, with every detail crafted to enhance downforce and efficiency.

Positioned as a proper driver’s car, above the AWD IONIQ 6, the N will carry forward Hyundai N’s trademark trio of key characteristics; ‘Corner Rascal’, ’Racetrack Capability’ and ‘Everyday Sports Car’.

While full technical details are still under wraps, the new model is expected to offer a leap in performance, albeit building on the dual-motor setup and torque vectoring systems pioneered in the IONIQ 5 N. The 5 produces up to 478kW.
