Suzuki Jimny XL Heritage Edition confirmed for Australia, only 500 available

After the runaway success of last year’s 3-door Jimny Heritage Limited Edition, which sold out in just five hours, Suzuki Australia is back with another. Introducing the limited edition Jimny XL Heritage 5-door, a model that is likely to be just as sought-after as its predecessor.

The Jimny XL Heritage pays homage to Suzuki’s illustrious 4×4 history, celebrating the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s when the Sierra and Jimny established themselves as the ultimate mini off-roaders. This special edition is available in five colours: Bluish Black, Granite Grey, Jungle Green, White, and Ivory with a Black roof.

In a rare move for this day and age, the Jimny XL Heritage is exclusively offered with a manual transmission, ensuring an authentic driving experience for driving enthusiasts. It’s powered by the regular 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine producing 75kW and 130Nm, offering a fuel consumption average of 6.4L/100km.

In terms of features, the Jimny XL Heritage boasts several unique elements that set it apart from the standard model. These include red front and rear mud flaps, a Jimny Heritage cargo tray, heritage decals, a limited build badge, and an exclusive Jimny Heritage pack.

Limited to just 500 units, the Jimny XL Heritage is expected to arrive between late June and early August, 2024. Suzuki Australia will provide updates on sold-out colours via its social media channels and through the dealer network as soon as they happen.

The Jimny XL Heritage is priced from $36,490, which is $1500 above the regular Jimny XL manual. Metallic paint options are available at an additional cost. For those who dig the retro styling paying homage to Zooks of yore, the Jimny XL Heritage is a must-have. Check out our videos of the regular Jimny XL for some inspiration.
