Nissan Australia has expanded its X-Trail lineup for 2026 with the introduction of the new Rock Creek variant, alongside three more affordable front-wheel drive e-Power hybrid grades.
The new Rock Creek is aimed at buyers wanting a tougher-looking family SUV, while retaining seven-seat practicality. Based on the X-Trail ST-L four-wheel drive, it’s priced from $48,315 before on-road costs which is a $2435 premium over the model it is based on.

Exterior highlights include a unique grille inspired by the classic Nissan D21 ute, black roof rails, black mirror caps, a revised front bumper and exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels. Orange accents are used for the badges and wheels, while a new Baja Storm paint finish with a contrasting black roof is exclusive to the grade.
Inside, the Rock Creek receives ballistic nylon-trimmed seats with embroidered logos, orange contrast stitching throughout the cabin, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.8-inch head-up display.
Mechanically, the Rock Creek retains the ST-L’s petrol-powered all-wheel drive drivetrain and is offered exclusively as a seven-seater. There is no mention of any hardware changes to enhance real-world off-road capability.

Alongside the new halo variant, Nissan has broadened availability of its e-Power hybrid system by introducing front-wheel drive versions of the ST-L, Ti and Ti-L. The e-POWER system continues to drive the wheels solely through an electric motor, with the petrol engine acting as a generator. Nissan says the new variants use 5.4L/100km on the combined cycle, down from 6.1L/100km for the all-wheel drive e-Power models.
The MY26 Nissan X-Trail range is available to order now, with the Rock Creek and new front-wheel drive e-Power variants due to arrive in Australian showrooms from September. All models continue to be backed by Nissan’s 10-year/300,000km warranty when serviced through the brand’s dealer network. See below for the starting prices (excludes on-roads):
