Nissan Australia announces 10-year / 300,000km warranty

Nissan Australia has announced its new ownership program, called Nissan MORE, delivering an unprecedented 10-year, 300,000km warranty, available to owners who service their vehicle at Nissan dealerships.

Effective from January 1, 2025, the service-activated warranty applies to all new Nissan models and extends across both private and commercial buyers. It complements the existing five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty, offering an additional five years at no extra cost for those who maintain their vehicle within Nissan’s service network.

In a move that will also benefit current owners, the extended warranty will be backdated to include Nissan vehicles purchased new since January 1, 2021. Eligible vehicles that have been serviced at Nissan dealerships will automatically qualify, while others can undergo a scheduled service and assessment to join the program.

Alongside the extended warranty, Nissan has introduced a five-year flat price servicing (FPS) program, lowering maintenance costs across the range. From 2025, servicing fees will be capped for the first five scheduled services, providing greater price transparency and savings of up to $1145, depending on the model.

Nissan Australia’s director of aftersales, Michael Hill, described the Nissan MORE program as an industry-leading step towards greater customer satisfaction. He said:

“In tough times and in a period where the new car market is full of mixed messages, Nissan Australia is putting our customers first. Our comprehensive flat price servicing program is a direct response to customer feedback. We’ve listened and acted.”

Beyond the savings and extended coverage, the warranty is fully transferable, adding value for future resale.
