Zeekr 7X passes 5000 sales milestone in Australia

Zeekr has recorded an impressive sales milestone in Australia, delivering 5000 examples of its 7X electric SUV less than eight months after local customer handovers began.

Customer deliveries of the Zeekr 7X started in October 2025, and the company says demand has continued to build steadily since launch. Recent months have seen the brand consistently deliver more than 1000 units per month, helping push the model beyond the 5000-unit mark.

The result comes as Zeekr continues to challenge established premium electric vehicle manufacturers, positioning the 7X as an alternative to both traditional European luxury brands and well-known EV specialists. According to Zeekr Australia, the milestone reflects growing consumer confidence in the brand’s combination of performance, technology and value. Frank Li, managing director of Zeekr Australia, said:

“Reaching 5000 deliveries in such a short period is a significant milestone for Zeekr in Australia. It reflects not only the strength of the 7X as a product, but also the growing confidence Australian customers have in a new premium EV brand that delivers on performance, innovation and overall ownership experience.”

Alongside increasing vehicle deliveries, Zeekr has been expanding its retail presence across the country. The company currently operates 18 locations nationally and plans to increase that number to 20 in the coming months as it broadens customer access in major metropolitan markets.

The 5000th vehicle delivered was a Zeekr 7X Black Special Edition, featuring an all-black exterior and interior treatment while retaining the flagship all-wheel drive performance and technology package.

So far this year, through May, Zeekr has sold (delivered) 3664 7Xs in Australia. That’s enough for top spot in the ‘SUV medium above $65,000’ vehicle class.
