2026 Nissan Navara on sale in Australia, price from $53,348

Pricing for the new D27 Nissan Navara has been revealed for Australia for 2026, with hopes the new ute will rejuvenate sales from the outgoing NP300 series model when it officially lands in showrooms in March.

Starting with the base SL, the lineup consists of four tiers, which also includes the ST, the ST-X and the flagship of the lineup (for now), the PRO-4X. All models, for now, are dual-cab 4×4 and automatic only. Towing capacity is 3500kg across the range.

Addressing the elephant in the room, the new Navara shares much with the Mitsubishi MV Triton, but styling elements which harken back to Navaras of yore, such as the three horizontal openings at the top of the grille and a comprehensive tuning program by Australian outfit, Premcar, aim to imbue it with its own distinct personality.

Starting with the SL, it comprises a 7.0-inch instrument screen and a 9.0-inch infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, tailgate damper, 17-inch steel wheels and a rear differential lock – which Nissan touts as being on par with more expensive, mid-high tier rivals.

For the extra outlay, the ST ditches the steelies for some silver finish alloys (same diameter), defrosting side mirrors, leather-rimmed steering wheel, interior carpet and rear USB charging as well as privacy glass. A sports bar also sets it apart from its bargain basement brother.

Stumping for the ST-X adds considerably to the Navara’s off-road credentials, with a Torsen limited-slip centre differential, and seven digital terrain modes and hill descent control. Wheels go up an inch in diameter to 18-inch smoked units.

Other inclusions? Leather-appointed seats (heated), dual-zone climate, passive entry with button start, tub-liner and power-folding mirrors. Cosmetic enhancements include colour-coded front bumper, chrome grille elements and side steps.

2026 Nissan Navara PRO-4X rear

Which brings us to the boss of the range, the PRO-4X. Continuing themes on the outgoing NP300 (which is, at the time of writing, on runout at $59,990 drive-away), it gets PRO-4X logos smattered throughout the exterior and interior, lava orange grille and wheel arch flare inserts, embossed seats, standard towbar, and ‘NAVARA’ font on the tailgate.

No word of a PRO-4X Warrior successor at this stage, but given Premcar’s involvement with it in the past, we would expect one in the not-too-distant-future.

All Navaras are backed by an industry-leading 10-year/300,000km warranty (whichever comes first) and the first five services are capped at $499. See below for the starting prices (excludes on-road costs:

2026 Nissan Navara SL dual-cab 4×4 auto: $53,348
2026 Nissan Navara ST dual-cab 4×4 auto: $56,765
2026 Nissan Navara ST-X dual-cab 4×4 auto: $63,177
2026 Nissan Navara PRO-4X dual-cab 4×4 auto: $68,418
