The all-electric Nissan Ariya (MY2025) is now officially available to order in Australia ahead of its local debut in early September. This is the second dedicated fully electric vehicle offered by Nissan in Australia, following the introduction of the Leaf about 13 years ago.
Buyers can choose between two battery sizes, 63kWh or 87kWh, with four model variants on offer; ENGAGE, ADVANCE, ADVANCE+, and the range-topping EVOLVE e-4ORCE. Driving ranges span from 385km to 504km, depending on the configuration, and charging capability is up to 130kW using a DC plug, resulting in 10–80 per cent top-up in 35 minutes.

The flagship EVOLVE e-4ORCE variant uses a dual-motor system for all-wheel drive (the first AWD EV for Nissan Australia), producing 320kW and 600Nm, with a 0–100km/h claim of 5.6 seconds. It uses an 87kWh battery to offer a range of 487km. It also features a near 50:50 weight distribution and electric brake control at each wheel for enhanced handling.
Meanwhile, the second-from-the-top ADVANCE+ variant also uses the 87kWh battery, except feeds power to a single motor that produces 178kW, good for 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds. It boasts the longest range in the lineup, stamped at 504km.

And then the entry two variants feature a 63kWh battery and a single motor, generating 160kW and 300Nm, enough to see 0-100km/h done and dusted in 8.0 seconds. It offers a range of 385km.
Inside, the Ariya aims to deliver a calming, minimalist environment. Dual 12.3-inch displays are spread across the dash, with haptic touch climate controls, and wireless Apple CarPlay with wired Android Auto. A flat floor layout boosts versatility and passenger comfort.
Going for the ADVANCE adds a 10-speaker Bose sound system, a powered tailgate, surround-view cameras, and power-adjustable front seats with heating. Moving up to the second-from-top ADVANCE+ adds head-up display, a panoramic glass roof, heated rear seats, and an optional 3-phase charger.

At the top, the EVOLVE gets unique 20-inch alloy wheels, blue Nappa leather, powered steering column adjustment, 3-phase charging, and adaptive LED headlights. It also offers a 1500kg braked towing capacity (up from 750kg in the others).
Safety tech comes standard across the range with features such as ProPILOT, lane-keep assist, emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and blind-spot intervention. All variants are also covered by Nissan’s 10-year/300,000km conditional warranty, along with five-year flat-price servicing and up to 10 years of roadside support.
