Lamborghini Urus SE makes dynamic debut at 2024 Goodwood Festival

The Lamborghini Urus SE made its dynamic debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend, captivating the audience with its impressive performance in the First Glance class.

The Urus SE, a new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) super SUV, exemplifies Lamborghini’s commitment to blending aesthetic appeal with advanced technology and superior performance. Lamborghini’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, highlighted the significance of the Goodwood Festival, saying:

“Goodwood Festival of Speed provides Lamborghini with the perfect environment in which to meet owners and enthusiasts, who love the opportunity to get close to our cars on display as well as the emotive experience of witnessing our super sports models in action.”

The Urus SE, first unveiled at the Beijing auto show in April, boasts a 588kW V8 hybrid powertrain. The combination of combustion engine and electric motor not only delivers epic torque and performance, with 0-100km/h coming up in 3.4 seconds, but also achieves an 80 per cent reduction in emissions compared with its predecessor, the Urus S.

Lamborghini claims the Urus SE as a leader in sustainable high-performance SUVs. It incorporates a 25.9kWh battery that can supply an electric range of over 60km. Yet with a 0-200km/h time of 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 312km/h, it is the fastest SUV in its class.

Lamborghini Revuelto 2024 Goodwood Festival

Also on attendance at the Goodwood Festival, Lamborghini showcased the new Revuelto in the Lamborghini Lounge at the event, featuring a custom theme by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam department. With a grey Grigio Acheso exterior and red Rosso Mimir pinstripes and lightweight carbon fibre components, the new supercar was certain to draw some attention.

The unique example was created to celebrate Lamborghini’s presence at the festival, while also highlighting the extensive personalisation possibilities and options available to Lamborghini buyers. It features a 747kW V12 hybrid in standard form.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato 2024 Goodwood Festival

Lamborghini also ran its complete fleet up the famous hill climb for spectators to see, including the Huracan Tecnica and Sterrato, and the Revuelto.

Market availability for the Urus SE is scheduled for 2025, with pre-orders already filling the first two years of production. As for the Revuelto, it is sold out until 2026. Prices start from $457,834 for the Urus SE, due to hit Australia in the first half of 2025, while the Revuelto starts from $987,000.
