Lamborghini global sales up 4.1% for 2024 H1, revenue up 14.1%

Following a record effort in 2023, Lamborghini has posted a record first-half in 2024, in terms of global sales, revenue and profit. Deliveries are up from 5341 in 2023 to 5558 during January through June this year.

The sales (deliveries) figure is up 4.1 per cent on 2023 efforts, and contributes to a 14.1 per cent increase in revenue, to 1.6 billion euros. Of that, operating profit is up to a record 458 million euros. Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said:

“We are going through a pivotal phase, supported by the largest investment in the company’s history, with the main objective of expanding our product offering. This process demands significant resources, yet these efforts are essential to sustain our growth and ensure that Automobili Lamborghini continues to innovate and lead in the luxury super sports car sector.”

Of the company’s small lineup, the Urus was the best-seller (oddly, for a supercar brand), making up 3152 units, and then the Huracan with 2043 units, and 355 versions of the new Revuelto. There were also 8 sales of the Aventador, likely from the last remaining units.

Around the world, the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa) contributed the most sales with 2498 units, followed by the Americas with 1849 sales, and then the APAC region (Asia Pacific, including Australia) with 1211 units. In terms of specific markets, the USA saw the most sales with 1621 units, followed by Germany with 595 units.

In Australia, Lamborghini delivered 130 vehicles in the first six months of this year, according to VFACTS figures. That’s up an impressive 83.1 per cent on the same period in 2023.

With these latest results, Lamborghini confirms the successor of the Huracan will be unveiled at Monterey Car Week on August 16. It will feature an “all-new twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a hybrid” system that promises “best-in-class performance” and driving experience.

This will be the third hybrid model from the brand, following the Sian and the recent Urus SE.
