2025 Alpina B3 GT announced for Australia, priced from $181,900

If you lust after a new BMW 3 Series sedan or wagon, or a 4 Series Gran Coupe but want more exclusivity, craftsmanship and performance, then Alpina has just the thing for you.

The 2025 Alpina B3 GT sedan, Touring and B4 GT Gran Coupe have landed, based on the mid-cycle facelift of the 3 and 4 Series. With a 3.0-litre turbo inline-six developing 389kW and a jaw-dropping 730Nm, it will even have the M4 Competition wetting its pants, with 14kW and 80Nm more power and torque.

Coupled with an all-wheel drive drivetrain via a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox, a respectable WLTP fuel consumption figure of 10.5L/100km means there is not a major penalty for all that extra power and torque.

Chassis revisions are thorough and meticulous, extending to new sway bars and mounting points, retuned variable ratio sports steering and active damping to imbue the cars with the legs to handle the extra punch, with the all-wheel drive system and rear limited-slip differential also receiving tweaks.

As expected from Alpina, the interior is significantly beautified with bespoke materials , including ‘Oro Tecnico’ trim for the stitching of the steering wheel and ‘Lavalina’ leather.

Anodised aluminium paddle-shifters and black leather piping remind you that this is something altogether more special than the already impressive standard car. Individual build numbers and lettering put an exclamation mark on that fact.

Externally, forged 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels mark this out as an Alpina, with unique front spoiler, cannards, splitter, exhaust tips and rear diffuser in gloss black exude subtle exotica. The new models are on sale from the following prices (excluding on-roads):

2025 BMW Alpina B3 GT Sedan: $181,900
2025 BMW Alpina B3 GT Touring: $184,900
2025 BMW Alpina B4 GT Gran Coupé: $189,900
