Subaru Solterra, Trailseeker price cut in Australia by up to $4000

Like a lot of EVs lately, the price tags have been cut again for the Subaru Solterra, as well as the yet-to-arrive Trailseeker, in an effort to ensure these models remain competitively priced.

Subaru says the changes are part of its “ongoing commitment to delivering excellent value” without compromising quality or performance. Even so, the Solterra in particular, has received several price cuts since its launch.

Back in 2023, with less power and less range, the Solterra originally started from $77,990. And then the starting price was reduced to $63,990 for the updated model, and now, the MY26 starts from $63,990 for the AWD and $67,990 for the AWD Touring.

Likewise, the Trailseeker hasn’t even arrived on the market yet prices have already been cut from the original kick-off of $67,990, now down to $63,990. The AWD Touring drops from $73,990 to $69,990.

So, what happens if you’ve just placed an order? Subaru encourages those customers to contact their Subaru showroom for “further guidance” on how these price changes “may apply” to their order. In other words, you might be able to haggle some kind of deal.

These changes are in effect now. See below for the full range and respective changes:
