Skoda Australia has confirmed an expansion of its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the new Enyaq RS, coming in as the brand’s most powerful EV to date for the local market.
Two variants are being presented, with either the traditional SUV wagon and four-door coupe body styles. Both models feature a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup paired with a 79kWh battery, delivering 250kW and 545Nm.

Performance is decent but not class-leading (for an EV), with a claimed 0–100km/h time of 5.4 seconds. However, the WLTP range is pretty good for the class, at 534km for the coupe and 523km for the SUV wagon.
Charging capability is also competitive, with DC fast-charging at up to 185kW, enabling a 10-80 per cent recharge in approximately 26 minutes. AC charging maxes out at the common 11kW rate, allowing a full charge in around eight hours.

In terms of the design, the RS variants receive a more aggressive look compared with standard Enyaq models, including sportier bumper bars, gloss black highlights and 21-inch alloy wheels, alongside a new illuminated front end signature referred to as the ‘Tech-Deck Face’. A panoramic glass roof is fitted as standard across both versions.
Inside, you’ve got RS seats and other RS-specific trimmings, while on the dash is a 13-inch infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster, with voice control functionality. Heated and ventilated front seats, a premium audio system and three-zone climate control come standard.

Being a Skoda, practicality remains a key focus, with a range of storage options and convenience-minded features spread throughout. Some examples include a hands-free tailgate, flexible cargo management, and plenty of cubby holes and boxes along the centre console.
The new models go on sale from the following prices (excluding on-road costs), with showroom arrival timing yet to be confirmed.
2026 Skoda Enyaq RS SUV: $75,490
2026 Skoda Enyaq RS Coupe: $76,490
