Cadillac has confirmed the new LYRIQ-V is now on sale in Australia, bringing 459kW of power and a 3.6-second 0-100km/h time, making it the quickest Cadillac ever.
The MY27 LYRIQ-V becomes Cadillac’s first fully electric V-Series model, sitting above the regular LYRIQ with a more powerful dual-motor all-wheel drive system and a range of chassis upgrades.
Outputs climb to 459kW and 880Nm, with the full performance available through a Velocity Max setting. With Launch Control engaged, Cadillac claims the LYRIQ-V can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 210km/h.
Drivers can select between Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, My Mode and V-Mode settings, with the latter providing access to Velocity Max, Launch Control and a Competitive Mode that relaxes the traction management systems.
Chassis changes include lowered sports suspension with Continuous Damping Control adaptive dampers, revised electric power steering and Brembo front brakes with 390mm rotors. The LYRIQ-V also rides on unique 22-inch alloy wheels with 275/40 tyres.
Power comes from a 92kWh battery, providing an estimated WLTP range of 471km. DC charging is limited to 130kW, but Cadillac claims up to 107km of range can be added in 10 minutes. On the AC side, a 22kW three-phase onboard charger is standard and can add up to 98km of range per hour under suitable conditions.
The V also gains a synthetic sound system inspired by Cadillac’s LMDh racing car. Audio is played through both the 23-speaker AKG cabin sound system and dedicated external speakers, although a Stealth Mode is available for drivers who prefer a quieter experience.
Other equipment includes Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic opening sunroof, 126-colour ambient lighting, and Cadillac’s 33-inch LED display with Google-based connectivity, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The 2027 Cadillac LYRIQ-V is on sale now priced from $99,000 (excluding on-road costs), while New Zealand pricing starts from NZ$109,000. It comes covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre vehicle warranty and an eight-year/160,000km battery warranty.
