RAM Trucks Australia has added a new Laramie Night Edition to the MY26 1500 range, combining the regular Laramie’s luxury equipment with darker exterior details and larger wheels.
The new variant gains a Sports Performance bonnet, black grille, badges, mirror caps, door handles and exhaust tips, along with black 22-inch alloy wheels and body-coloured bumpers.
Power comes from the awesome 3.0-litre twin-turbo ‘Hurricane’ inline-six petrol engine, producing 313kW and 635Nm. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an electronically controlled on-demand four-wheel-drive system.
Standard equipment includes leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, power-operated side steps, a 14.4-inch infotainment screen, 12-inch digital instrument display, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
It also comes with a power tailgate, tri-fold tonneau cover, spray-in tub-liner, and RAM Box storage compartments built into the rear guards. Braked towing capacity is rated at up to 4500kg when using a 70mm tow ball, while payload is listed at 799kg.
Safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors.
The Night Edition is available in Bright White, Diamond Black and Granite Crystal, with the latter two adding $950. Its arrival also places the existing Laramie Sport into runout. RAM is offering that variant from $139,950 drive-away until September 30, 2026, while remaining stock lasts.
Priced from $141,950 before on-road costs, the Night Edition is due to arrive in Australian showrooms this month. It sits above the Express Black, Rebel, and Laramie Sport in the local range, but below the RAM 1500 Limited, which remains priced from $159,950 (all excluding on-road costs).
