Hyundai Australia has unveiled the i20 N Shadow Edition, a limited-production variant marking the final allocation for the current-generation hot hatch before the next-gen arrives. The run is strictly capped at 100 individually numbered units and is available exclusively for Australian customers, with orders open immediately.
The vehicle retains the core mechanical powertrain architecture of the regular i20 N, utilising a 1.6-litre turbo four-cylinder engine producing 150kW and 275Nm, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The chassis configuration continues to focus on a purely analogue driver interface.

The Shadow Edition introduces several exterior and interior cosmetic revisions. On the outside, the vehicle is equipped with 18-inch Shadow Edition matte bronze flow-forged alloy wheels wrapped in performance-oriented Pirelli P Zero tyres, accented by black wheel nuts.
And then the lower doors feature colour-coordinated matte bronze decals designed to complement the wheel finish. Customers can specify the vehicle in two exterior colours; Atlas White or Phantom Black.

Inside, the primary driver touch points receive an upholstery upgrade, including an Alcantara-wrapped N steering wheel featuring a Performance Blue top marker and contrast stitching, alongside an Alcantara-wrapped gear shifter.
The cabin floor is protected by tailored rubber mats featuring an integrated Pirelli P Zero tyre tread pattern. A dedicated Shadow Edition numbered plaque is fitted inside to certify the specific build number of each of the 100 examples. Hyundai Australia COO Gavin Donaldson, said:
“With just 100 examples available, the Shadow Edition provides a fitting farewell – its exclusive monochrome styling celebrates the i20 N’s unique character while giving enthusiasts the opportunity to own a distinctive piece of Hyundai N history.”
Prices start from $41,500 for the Atlas White paint, rising to $42,095 for examples finished in Phantom Black (excluding on-road costs).
