2025 Subaru WRX (MY25) update on sale in Australia from $48,190

Subaru Australia has rolled out some updates for its 2025 WRX lineup (MY25), building on the recent arrival of the tS Spec B flagship with added features across safety, tech and design. The refreshed range promises to deliver more equipment and enhanced value.

At the top end of the range, both the sedan and Sportswagon tS variants receive a significant boost in driver-focused features. A new 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster is now fitted, alongside Recaro front seats with an eight-way power driver’s seat and a manually adjustable passenger seat.

Subaru’s enhanced EyeSight Driver Assist system has also been bolstered with the introduction of an Emergency Driving Stop System, which is now standard across the board. The Driver Monitoring System (DMS), previously only available on select variants, now comes fitted to every WRX sedan, offering facial recognition, distraction and drowsiness warnings.

Inside the WRX Sportswagon, the headlining and pillar trim have switched from white to black, mirroring the more performance-focused aesthetic of the sedan. Subtle but notable styling tweaks include red WRX dashboard embroidery for tS and Spec B variants, while the tS now adopts the same dark grey wheel design seen on the RS manual.

The updated lineup also brings a fresh paint option to the table, with a new Galaxy Purple Pearl finish replacing Solar Orange Pearl across all sedan variants.

Power continues to come from a 2.4-litre turbo flat-four engine producing 202kW and 350Nm, across the range. It can be matched to either a six-speed manual or CVT automatic, although depending on the trim level.
