2025 Subaru WRX tS Spec B price & specs confirmed for Australia

Subaru Australia has announced final specifications and pricing for the new WRX tS Spec B, a performance-focused addition to the WRX lineup. Orders are now open ahead of first deliveries expected in April, with prices starting at $61,490 (before on-road costs).

Designed to offer more driver engagement, the WRX AWD tS Spec B introduces electronically adjustable dampers to the manual transmission variant for the first time. The Drive Mode Select system allows adjustments across Comfort, Normal, Sport, Sport+, and Individual settings, tailoring the ride to suit different conditions and preferences.

Building on the WRX RS, the tS Spec B gains a set of 19-inch matt grey alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S007 tyres for sharper handling and improved grip. A Brembo braking system, featuring six-piston front and two-piston rear calipers with ventilated and cross-drilled discs provides better stopping power, while a large rear spoiler adds to both aerodynamics and visual drama.

Inside, Recaro sports bucket seats offer additional support, complemented by an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a new 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster with multiple display modes. The special variant also introduces Subaru’s Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS), which can safely bring the vehicle to a controlled stop if it detects a lack of driver input.

Under the bonnet, the familiar 2.4-litre turbo flat-four engine continues from the regular WRX, producing 202kW and 350Nm. This is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

Subaru is also offering STI Performance mufflers as a no-cost option for a sportier note. A new Galaxy Purple Pearl paint option also replaces Solar Orange Pearl in the colour palette.
