2025 Kia EV4 revealed, with range-topping GT-Line

Kia has pulled the covers off its latest electric offering, the EV4, revealing both sedan and hatchback variants ahead of its debut at 2025 Kia EV Day later this month. Designed to broaden the brand’s EV appeal, the new models fuse modern styling with cutting-edge technology.

The EV4 showcases Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, showcasing a distinctive combination of sharp lines and bold technical details. The sedan variant features a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette with a low-set bonnet and a fastback-style rear, while the hatchback presents a more compact yet equally dynamic profile.

At the front, Kia’s signature EV ‘tiger face’ is complemented by vertically positioned headlamps and the brand’s ‘Star Map’ lighting signature, enhancing its futuristic presence. The sedan further differentiates itself with a two-piece rear spoiler and sculpted taillights, adding to its sense of motion and sophistication. Meanwhile, the hatchback’s upright C-pillar and strong proportions give it a robust, versatile aesthetic.

With the EV4, Kia aims to penetrate the electric sedan and hatchback segments, taking on the likes of the Tesla Model 3 and MG4. According to Karim Habib, executive vice president and head of Kia Global Design, the new model pushes the boundaries of EV design. He said:

“By offering both sedan and hatchback variants, we are bringing to our customers, the unique experience of modernity and practicality that defines the Kia EV family, in a way that suits their varied lifestyles and needs.”

The EV4 is set to make its global debut at the 2025 Kia EV Day event in Tarragona, Spain, on February 24, where Kia will also outline its future electrification strategy. Full specifications and features will be officially unveiled on February 27.
