2025 Mazda BT-50 now on sale in Australia, price from $36,400

Mazda Australia has confirmed prices and final specs for the 2025 BT-50 ute range, which is on sale now in five grade levels.

The 2025 BT-50 range spans from the XS, XT, XTR, GT and to the top SP. All except the base XS come with a carry-over 3.0-litre turbo-diesel Isuzu four-cylinder producing 140kW and 450Nm. Buyers of the XS have the opt of a 1.9-litre turbo-diesel, developing 110kW and 350Nm.

2025 Mazda BT-50 XTR

All variants come with (at minimum) an 8.0-inch touch-screen (9.0in from XTR and up), with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear-view camera, and LED headlights. Jumping up to the XT and above adds a rear diff lock for 4×4 models, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear climate vents, and Rough Terrain Mode (4×4 models).

Moving up to the XTR adds 18-inch wheels, side steps, a tow bar, dual-zone climate control, sat-nav and tyre pressure monitoring. The GT adds leather seats with heating in the front, remote engine start, and front parking sensors. Going for the SP is mainly about providing a black trim pack for the exterior, and adds a roller shutter (manual).

2025 Mazda BT-50 SP

Mazda has revised the styling of the BT-50 for the new model, with side curtain aerodynamics for the front bumper, new grille, updated taillight and tailgate. There’s also some new-look alloy wheels (where fitted). Mazda is also offering a wide range of accessories. Speaking about the new model, Jarrod Gieschen, director of sales and marketing at Mazda Australia, said:

We are therefore proud to have developed such an extensive list of accessories to complement the new Mazda BT-50, providing our customers with the ability to tailor their vehicle to best suit their needs – all while having the peace of mind of being backed by our leading five-year warranty.”

The entry-grade BT-50 XS is available on the single-cab body only, and comes with:

  • Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (i-ACC) with stop-and-go
  • 8.0-inch full-colour touchscreen display

  • 17-inch steel wheels
  • LED headlamps
  • Black cloth seats

The BT-50 XT is available in single-cab, freestyle cab and dual-cab bodies, and adds:

  • 17-inch alloy wheels
  • 3.0-litre in-line 4-cylinder diesel engine
  • Option of 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrains
  • Locking rear differential (4×4 models only)
  • Tailgate assist (pickup models only)
  • Rear air-conditioning vents (dual cab models only)
  • Rough-Terrain Mode (4×4 models only)
  • Rear-parking sensors (pickup model only)

The mid-range BT-50 XTR is offered with a dual-cab body, and adds:

  • 18-inch machined alloy wheels
  • Front LED fog lamps
  • LED headlamps with auto-levelling
  • Power-folding exterior mirrors
  • Side-steps
  • Signature daytime running lamps (DRL)
  • Tow bar with receiver, tongue and wiring harness (pickup models only)
  • Tub liner (pickup models only)
  • 9-inch full-colour touchscreen
  • Advanced keyless entry
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Satellite navigation
  • Tyre-pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

BT-50 GT is available in 4×4 only, and adds:

  • Black leather seats
  • Electric driver’s seat with eight-way power adjustment
  • Heated front seats
  • Remote engine start
  • Front parking sensors

The range-topping BT-50 SP adds:

  • 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels
