2025 Genesis G80 Black revealed, looks gangster

Genesis has unveiled the 2025 G80 Black based on the recently updated G80, marking the fourth addition to its exclusive Genesis Black lineup. It brings in a sinister and sporty aesthetic for the large luxury sedan.

Following the release of the G90 Black, GV80 Black, and GV80 Coupe Black, the G80 Black features a comprehensive blacked-out exterior that amplifies its elegant design. Key elements, such as the lower intakes, front grille, badges, and headlight bezels, are all finished in deep black tones.

Additional touches include glossy black 20-inch alloy wheels with floating centre caps, and a dark grey Genesis emblem on the boot lid.

Inside, the G80 Black is equally black, with bespoke accents and unique luxury materials. Black finishes are meticulously applied to various details, including air conditioning controls, door and console switches, paddle shifters, and speaker grilles.

Quilted seat leather and real wood garnishes add an extra layer of sophistication, while a 27-inch integrated wide display offers exclusive welcome and goodbye animations.

Genesis has confirmed the new model will go on sale in Australia later this year. Specifications are yet to be confirmed, but as of right now, the G80 is available with a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol producing 224kW/422Nm, and a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 developing 279kW/530Nm.
