Maserati celebrates 110th anniversary with GranTurismo ‘110 Anniversario’ edition

Maserati is marking its 110th anniversary with the launch of an exclusive GranTurismo 110 Anniversario special edition. The unique series pays tribute to the brand’s rich heritage while embracing its electric future with the GranTurismo Folgore – Maserati’s first all-electric model.

The commemorative series is strictly limited to 110 units, mirroring the years of the marque’s existence. Split into two striking configurations, 55 models will be finished in Rame Folgore, while the remaining 55 will feature a unique Blu Inchiostro colour scheme.

Both versions showcase intricate details such as special rims with black and copper accents, and interiors crafted from sustainable materials like denim or black Econyl, highlighted with copper or blue stitching.

A bespoke anniversary logo, blending the iconic Trident with the number 110 at a dynamic tilt distinguishes the series as well. The emblem also makes its way onto the Maserati Tipo Folgore single-seater, set to debut in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on December 7 in São Paulo, Brazil. The electric race car will sport a new blue and rose gold livery.

The GranTurismo 110 Anniversario will debut as part of the exclusive Trident Experience program. This is a two-day event designed to immerse participants in Maserati’s storied past and forward-thinking ethos. Celebrations will commence on November 30 at the historic Viale Ciro Menotti showroom.

As standard the GranTurismo Folgore is powered by three electric motors that combine to produce a colossal 560kW and 1350Nm. This results in a claimed 0-100km/h time of just 2.7 seconds, and a top speed of 325km/h.

Specifications and details regarding the Australia market are yet to be confirmed. However, the local division says it will be introducing just one of each colour version to local showrooms.
