2026 Subaru WRX Club Spec Evo celebrates 60,000 sales in Australia

It’s been on sale for a little while now, but to help spice up the iconic sports sedan Subaru Australia is announcing a special edition WRX Club Spec Evo for 2026.

The special edition is coated in an exclusive, eye-popping Sunrise Yellow paintwork for the exterior, and features 19-inch matt black alloy wheels, special decals, and some unique highlights inside.

Recaro sports seats cradle front passengers, wrapped in Ultrasuede, with yellow and black trimmings and stitching to match the exterior, along with a Club Spec Evo badge highlighting its limited-build status.

Subaru Australia is using this as a way to celebrate the 60,000th local delivery of the WRX nameplate, although, a similar package was presented in Japan back in December, called the STI Sport R-Black Limited II STI Performance… Club Spec Evo is probably a better name anyway.

The special edition is based on the local WRX tS Spec B, which means it should come with the adaptive dampers (although not mentioned in the press release). It also means it comes with a six-speed manual transmission, thankfully not the CVT auto. Speaking about the package, Scott Lawrence, GM at Subaru Australia, said:

“Reaching 60,000 WRX sales in Australia is a significant milestone for Subaru and a testament to the enduring connection Australians have with this iconic performance nameplate.”

Just 75 examples are going up for grabs, with prices starting from $63,190. Each is given a unique build number, exclusive to the Australian market. It’s on sale now. See below for the full WRX lineup for 2026:
