2026 Mitsubishi Triton Raider now on sale in Australia

Mitsubishi Australia has confirmed pricing for the 2026 Triton Raider, with the Australian-developed flagship dual-cab set to arrive in local showrooms from June. This is essentially Mitsubishi’s answer to the Nissan Navara Warrior.

First announced earlier this year, the Triton Raider has been engineered in collaboration with Victorian automotive specialist Premcar – the same firm that converts the Nissan Navara Warrior and Patrol Warrior – and it is based on the top-spec Triton GSR dual-cab.

The new variant sits at the top of the MY26 Triton range and brings in a series of hardcore off-road enhancements, including work on the suspension, wheel and styling upgrades, and under-body protection, all aimed at improving both off-road ability and on-road composure in Australian conditions.

Premcar has reworked the suspension package and given it unique dampers front and rear, including an internal rebound spring setup at the front designed to improve wheel control across rough terrain. Revised springs and bump stops have also been added as part of the changes.

Ride height has increased by 25mm at the front and 15mm at the rear, while the track width grows by 20mm overall. The Raider also adopts Bridgestone AT002 all-terrain tyres wrapped around 18-inch ROH ‘Assault’ alloy wheels finished in a bronze colour scheme unique to the model.

The Yamaha Performance Damper system for the body and chassis, introduced on the updated Triton GSR, has been retained as well, helping reduce vibration and improve refinement.

Visually, the Raider separates itself from the standard GSR with bronze ‘Sandstorm’ decals, bespoke badging, upgraded underbody protection and additional accessories sourced from Mitsubishi’s global and local catalogues. Red highlights are incorporated into the side protection bars and sports bar, while the front end gains darker trim for a more aggressive appearance.

Inside, the cabin largely mirrors the Triton GSR but adds Raider-specific touches including branded headrests and orange contrast stitching across the black leather upholstery, and a Raider logo on the centre console. Four exterior paint colours will be offered at launch: Black Mica, Blade Silver, Graphite Grey, and White Diamond.

Prices start from $74,990 (excluding on-roads). Like the wider Triton range, the Raider is backed by Mitsubishi’s 10/10/10 Diamond Advantage after-sales program, providing up to 10 years of warranty, capped-price servicing and roadside assistance when serviced through Mitsubishi’s dealer network.
