Jeep is officially launching the updated Gladiator Rubicon in Australia for 2025, bringing in a series of upgrades across safety, comfort, technology, and off-road capability.
While the core ruggedness and open-air design remain unchanged, the 2025 model introduces a refreshed front-end with a redesigned seven-slot grille, body-coloured wheel arches, and new 17-inch alloy wheels. A revised trail antenna is now integrated into the windscreen to reduce the risk of off-road damage, while a new Gorilla Glass windscreen adds durability.

Inside, the Gladiator gains a tech upgrade, headlined by a new 12.3-inch touch-screen running Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are now standard, along with hands-free voice control with a seven-microphone array. A wrapped instrument panel with soft-touch materials and contrast stitching helps lift cabin presentation, and there’s even a Bluetooth speaker thrown in.
Front passengers now benefit from 12-way power-adjustable Nappa leather-trimmed seats with four-way lumbar, while practical touches like hard seat back panels, lockable under-seat storage, and AMPS accessory mounts help maintain its utilitarian edge.

The Rubicon continues to be powered by Jeep’s 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine, producing 209kW and 347Nm. Paired with an eight-speed automatic, the Gladiator features stop-start tech as standard, and its 77:1 crawl ratio and Rock-Trac 4×4 system ensure serious off-road capability. Jeep has also improved NVH levels and added side curtain airbags and a rear seat reminder as part of a broader safety update.
An extended list of previously optional equipment, such as the spray-in bedliner, trail rail system, 240 Amp alternator, and auxiliary switch bank, is now included as standard under the ‘Lifestyle Adventure Group’ package.
Buyers can also choose from a range of colours including Anvil, Firecracker Red, Hydro Blue, Mojito and the heritage-inspired ’41. Prices start from $82,990 (excluding on-road costs).
