According to Li Lei, head of Geely Auto Australia, the EX5 represents a major milestone for the brand’s local presence. Lei said:

“The Geely EX5 is the best choice for drivers who value class-leading comfort, cutting-edge technology, and safety features in their vehicles.”

Geely has also introduced a customisable online configurator, allowing prospective buyers to explore different variants, colours, wheels, and interior options via the Geely Australia website. A dedicated product page provides further details on the EX5’s features, making it easy for customers to learn more about the brand’s latest electric offering.

It is expected to be priced quite competitively against its nearest electric rivals. Highlight features include a 16-speaker Flyme sound system, V2L functionality at up to 3.3kW, and a 15.4-inch touch-screen.

Power comes from a 60.2kWh battery providing a range of up to 430km. It sends energy to a single electric motor that produces 160kW and 320Nm, which is enough to see 0-100km/h done and dusted in a respectable 6.9 seconds.
