2026 Genesis GV60 facelift revealed, confirmed for Australia

Genesis has unveiled the facelifted GV60 for 2026. It is the first significant update to the dedicated electric vehicle since its introduction in 2021. The refreshed model features revised styling, advanced new interior technology, and refined details, all aligning with the brand’s emphasis on luxury and innovation.

The updated exterior showcases Genesis’s “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy, highlighted by a dynamic, three-dimensional front bumper and newly-designed Micro Lens Array (MLA) headlights, which emphasise the brand’s distinctive ‘Two Lines’ theme.

Its unique profile is further enhanced by sporty 21-inch five-spoke wheels and a coupe-like silhouette. Additional refinements, including body-coloured wheel arch cladding and garnishes, contribute to its sporty and modern SUV aesthetic.

Inside, the cabin retains its luxurious appeal with the company’s “Beauty of White Space” concept, now elevated with advanced features. A new 27-inch ‘connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC)’ seamlessly merges the gauge cluster and infotainment screen, as seen on the latest GV80 and new GV70.

And then for the driver Genesis has incorporated a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel that enhances usability while adding a sporty touch. Genesis’s signature Crystal Sphere shift-by-wire system remains as a bespoke touch.

Further specifications and pricing for the 2026 GV60 will be announced soon, ahead of its launch in Korea during the first quarter. Genesis Australia has confirmed the new model is scheduled to arrive in local showrooms during the third quarter of this year.
