Audi Australia launches last hurrah TT 45 TFSI ‘Final Edition’

In a farewell tribute to the iconic Audi TT, Audi Australia is launching a special TT 45 TFSI quattro Final Edition that aims to encapsulate the essence of the game-changing sportscar.

The special edition commemorates 25 years of production, showcasing the enduring appeal of the Audi TT since its conceptual debut back in 1995. Jeff Mannering, director at Audi Australia, said:

“The Audi TT rightly enjoys its place as a modern classic. From the original concept car in 1995 to three generations and various specialist iterations, it has struck a chord with customers and critics alike worldwide.”

The TT Final Edition is based on the TT 45 TFSI quattro, boasting a unique design and substantial boost in features. In fact, it packs around $14,000 worth of added equipment for just $5900 more than the standard model.

Available in four striking colours – Chronos grey metallic, Glacier white metallic, Tango red metallic, and Turbo blue – the TT Final Edition retains the unmistakable silhouette of the TT but with a contemporary twist. The exterior features a single-frame grille, quattro badging, large air intakes, and LED headlights, creating a purposeful and aggressive aesthetic.

The S line Competition Plus exterior package comes as standard, adding 19-inch Audi Sport wheels, and a fixed rear wing in gloss black to further enhance its dynamic presence.

Under the bonnet, the TT Final Edition houses a 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder, delivering 180kW of power and 370Nm of torque. With a seven-speed S tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive, the TT Final Edition accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds, reaching a governed top speed of 250km/h.

Inside, the interior pays homage to the original TT design ethos with a minimalist layout, while incorporating Audi’s modern, crisp technology. The flat-bottomed steering wheel, electric S sport front seats in fine Nappa leather, and Audi’s virtual cockpit plus with sport display contribute to the exclusive feel of the TT Final Edition.

Safety features include Audi attention assist, Audi side assist, hold assist for hill starts, Audi parking system plus, a rear-view camera, and more. Prices start from $88,479 (excluding on-roads).

The TT Final Edition stands as a testament to the Audi TT’s 25-year legacy, encapsulating the spirit of the original design while embracing modern advancements. With limited numbers available, interested punters are encouraged to visit their local Audi dealership to enquire as they are likely to sell out fast.
