Singer Porsche 911 ‘Sorcerer’ 964 Turbo has 934 race car vibes

Renowned Porsche 911 tuner and engineer, Singer, has come up with a tasty new package featuring one of its DLS Turbo Services kits. It’s nicknamed the Sorcerer.

Starting with a Porsche 964-generation 911, Singer gets to work refurbishing the chassis and adding reinforcements, overhauls the suspension to ensure it is planted and balanced, and then gets to work with the engine.

Implanted in the back is a 3.8-litre flat-six featuring a proper twin-turbo package, generating up to 529kW (710hp) and 746Nm. Not only is that an awesome amount of power for a small sports coupe, Singer has the engine spinning up to 9000rpm. Imagine taking this beast for a blast along your favourite road.

You may have noticed the bodywork is also quite extraordinary. The theme was inspired by Porsche’s 934/5 race cars from the late 1970s, incorporating a huge wrap-around rear end and accompanying wing, with a neat but substantial lower skirt and lip spoiler at the front.

It’s all been coated in a fading Fantastic Blue paint that gets darker towards the rear. There’s also a set of 20-inch forged magnesium wheels, beautifully-dished at the back, with carbon ceramic brakes hiding behind.

Take a look inside and you’ll find a bespoke interior theme, with racing bucket seats, an overhauled dashboard that mixes 911 heritage with Singer’s clean design signature, topped off with a carbon fibre centre console and exposed manual gear shift mechanism.

It is just stunning in every way. Unfortunately, this isn’t going into mainstream production any time soon as it was commissioned by a customer. But if you’ve got the money we’re sure Singer could make you another one, if you ask nicely.
