2025 Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series update now on sale in Australia

Toyota Australia has rolled out a neat update for its LandCruiser 300 Series range for 2025, bringing enhanced technology, upgraded safety features, and improved comfort. The updated lineup is available to order now, with prices kicking off from $97,990 for the entry-level GX.

Six variants span the complete range, from the GX, GXL, VX, Sahara, GR Sport, and top Sahara ZX. All continue with the 3.3-litre turbo-diesel V6 engine, producing 227kW and 700Nm. It’s matched to a 10-speed auto and full-time four-wheel drive system. We’ve timed 0-100km/h in a best of 7.43 seconds in the GX, and 7.75 seconds in the GR Sport.

All models offer a 3500kg braked towing capacity, and come with a two-speed transfer case with low range, as well as crawl control and a locking centre differential. The GR Sport adds a front and rear diff lock, and the e-KDSS electronic stabiliser bar disconnect system.

Among the most notable changes for 2025 is the inclusion of Toyota’s latest Safety Sense driver assistance suite, now standard across the range. New features include lane trace assist with steering vibration, emergency steering assist, and an emergency driving stop system. The GX also benefits from added reversing camera guidelines for easier parking.

A big step forward in connectivity is the introduction of Toyota’s newest multimedia system, which now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. The GX scores an 8.0-inch touch-screen, while higher grades such as the VX gain a 12.3-inch display paired with a matching digital instrument cluster.

Interior upgrades include a new 7.0-inch digital driver display in the GX along with a power-adjustable steering column, while the GXL adds four-zone climate control, a console cool box, suede-like upholstery, and powered front seats.

The VX adds embedded satellite navigation, a powered tailgate, and HDMI connectivity, while the Sahara grade – unchanged from last year – maintains its luxury features including leather-accented trim, a 14-speaker JBL sound system, and dual rear entertainment screens.

At the top, the Sahara ZX focuses on luxury with exclusive design touches, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a Torsen rear limited-slip differential. A gesture control tailgate is also included.

In terms of colours, Saturn Blue metallic has been deleted, but customers are able to choose from nine solid, metallic, mica metallic and pearl options. The new model is on sale now from the following prices (excluding on-road costs) – all variants have increased slightly:
