LDV has updated its T60 ute for 2025, introducing key safety and technology enhancements alongside a boost in braked towing capacity to 3500kg across the range. The refreshed range, now streamlined to three variants, is set to arrive in Australian showrooms this month.
The MY25 T60 continues with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, producing 160kW and 500Nm, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. All models now feature four-wheel disc brakes, while the manual transmission option has been discontinued.
The entry-level T60 MAX Pro receives a major safety upgrade, adding autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and a high-definition rear-view camera. Electric power steering has also been introduced. Additional updates include a microfibre-trimmed steering wheel, digital radio, and black roof rails.
For those after more space, the T60 MAX Plus remains available in standard and long wheelbase ‘Mega Tub’ configurations. It carries over the widescreen instrument and infotainment displays introduced last year, along with a floating centre console. The 2025 update brings a high-definition 360-degree camera and digital radio.
LDV Australia general manager Dinesh Chinnappa spoke about the updates in a statement, saying:
“The ute market is highly competitive in Australia and we remain committed to offering customers a range of vehicles at the value end of the segment. These upgrades bring advanced safety and other technology to the LDV T60 while still maintaining a price that people can afford, delivering a level of grunt that few rival utes can match for the money.”
