2025 Chery Tiggo Pro 7 updates announced, price from $29,990

Chery Australia has refreshed its Tiggo 7 Pro mid-size SUV for 2025, introducing two new variants that enhance features while maintaining sheer affordability. The updated range, consisting of the SE and SE+, replaces the outgoing Urban, Elite, and Ultimate trims.

Both variants are powered by a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 137kW and 275Nm, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Power is sent to the front wheels only, with fuel consumption rated at 7.0L/100km on the combined cycle.

A suite of 16 driver assistance technologies is also included.

For those seeking additional convenience and luxury, the SE+ is priced from $33,990 drive-away. It adds a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, heated front seats, and an advanced air quality management system.

Sales of the Tiggo Pro 7 have been going steady over the past 12 months, with 2734 sales in total during 2024, according to VFACTS figures. It held 1.2 per cent market share, or 16th place in the crowded ‘SUV medium below $60k’ segment.

The new models will be available in dealerships from February 1.
