The 2018 BMW M5 might annoy some of the traditional fans due to its xDrive all-wheel, but fortunately, the system is switchable to complete rear-wheel drive. As Timo Glock demonstrates in this epic drift video.
BMW M posted the video onto its Facebook account yesterday, showing former F1 driver and BMW factory driver Timo Glock doing one hell of a drift in the new M5. He drifts one massive corner from end to end, with smoke absolutely bellowing from the rear tyres.
The new M5 features a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 441kW of power and 750Nm of torque. This is sent through an eight-speed sports automatic (not dual-clutch), with 0-100km/h coming up in a claimed 3.4 seconds.
