Hyundai Australia has expanded its flagship SUV lineup with the introduction of Palisade Elite; a new range-opening grade that joins the existing Calligraphy and targets families wanting the full three-row footprint at a lower price point.
Hyundai says Elite brings a distinct look inside and out, while retaining the same locally-developed Australian chassis tuning applied to the wider Palisade range.

Visually, Palisade Elite is separated from Calligraphy with a unique front grille and revised lower bumpers and side skirts, plus black wheel-arch cladding. It rides on five-spoke 20-inch alloy wheels with a black/machined finish, while black detailing within the tailgate number plate recess completes the darker exterior theme.
Buyers have a choice of six colours: Abyss Black, Classy Blue, Creamy White, Ecotronic Grey, Galaxy Maroon, and Shimmering Silver.
Inside, Elite uses the same twin 12.3-inch digital cluster and multimedia displays as Calligraphy, and includes a 14-speaker Bose audio system. Upholstery is black leather with premium cloth trim elements, and Hyundai has fitted acoustic front and solar-control door glass, plus privacy glass for the second and third rows.

Power comes from Hyundai’s next-generation ‘Smartstream 2.5 Turbo Hybrid’, paired with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Outputs are 245kW and 460Nm, with combined fuel consumption of 6.8L/100km and a 2000kg braked towing. EV-style functions include interior V2L and Stay Mode, allowing electronics and climate control to run without the engine operating.
Hyundai Australia COO Gavin Donaldson said Palisade Elite “ushers in an attainable eight-seater SUV” alongside Calligraphy, combining hybrid power with local steering and suspension tuning for Australian roads.
The eight-seat Palisade Elite is priced from $76,500 (before on-road costs), with first deliveries due in March 2026.
