BMW M has unveiled its next CS vehicle at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event at Lake Como, with the M2 CS.
This is a hardcore track-ready version of the already-slick M2 coupe. Although no official details or specs have been revealed with these images, we’re certain it will come with a range of enhancements over the regular M2.

Visible are some upgraded brakes with red-painted calipers and what appear to be carbon ceramic discs. Unique lightweight, probably forged wheels in light gold sit over the top.
At the back you’ll notice a huge ducktail-style wing moulded into the bespoke boot lid, with a chunky diffuser down below supporting quad-outlet exhausts in titanium or at least titanium finish.

As for the powertrain? Well, nobody knows at this point, except BMW officials of course. It is set to retain the S58 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six though, which currently produces 353kW. Our guess is it will be bumped up to 375kW, as seen in the pre-facelifted M3/M4 Competition.
Other changes include crazy bucket seats inside, lots of carbon fibre for trimming the kerb weight, and special badges and BMW M colours spread about the cabin.
Like the M4 CS, the M2 CS will be a special edition and likely built in limited numbers only. All specs and more details will be announced this coming Tuesday.
