Sold and distributed by the Country Dealer Team, the XE Falcon Grand Prix features pumped guards, a more aggressive front valance and ’80s-tastic whale tail spoiler – evocative of the car he was racing at Bathurst in the era.

Due to the introduction of Group A regulations, the XE Grand Prix unfortunately never saw a racetrack. The ad for this car states that out of the 43 total cars built, 31 had forced induction via a turbocharger which helped it belt out 190kW. This example, is one of 12 that forwent the huffer, with a standard 111kW, 4.1-litre EFI six, courtesy of a Bosch Jetronic LE system.
